Dishwasher leaking onto the floor

Symptoms

3. Wipe down the rubber door gasket and check for cracks, food debris, or gaps where it meets the tub.
4. Reload dishes so nothing blocks the door from clicking fully shut and latching.
5. With the dishwasher pulled out (power off), check the water supply line and drain hose connections underneath for looseness or cracks.
6. Run an empty cycle while watching for exactly where water first appears, then tighten or replace the leaking part.
7. If the leak comes from inside the tub itself or won't stop, call an appliance repair technician.
