These terms cover your use of Operator at fix-my.tech, operated by Island Global Company (“we”). By using Operator you agree to them.

What Operator is

Operator provides AI-generated troubleshooting information. It can be wrong. For safety-critical, electrical, gas, structural, medical, automotive safety, or other high-risk problems, consult a qualified professional.

Operator gives general troubleshooting information generated by AI from the photos and description you provide. It has not physically inspected anything, it can misidentify objects and problems, and its answers are not professional advice, inspection, certification or a guarantee of any outcome.

Your responsibility

• You decide whether and how to act on any answer. Follow manufacturer instructions, local codes and the law.
• Stop and use a qualified professional for anything involving mains electricity, gas, fuel, structural elements, pressure systems, airbags, brakes, steering, damaged batteries, hazardous chemicals or medical issues. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
• Cost and time estimates are approximate. Part suggestions may be wrong — confirm fit and part numbers with the manufacturer or a supplier before buying.

Acceptable use

Don’t upload anything illegal, anything you don’t have the right to share, or images of other people without their consent. Don’t use Operator to cause harm, defeat safety devices, or overload or scrape the service. We may limit or block use to protect the service.

Free service

Operator is free and subject to daily limits. We may change, limit or stop the service at any time.

No warranty; limitation of liability

Operator is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any property damage, personal injury or loss arising from your use of or reliance on Operator. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of Operator or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
