Stroller wheel wobbles or shakes

Symptoms

3. Spin the wheel by hand to check for grinding, roughness, or side-to-side play at the bearing.
4. Remove the wheel if possible (per your stroller's manual) and clear away any hair or debris wrapped around the axle.
5. If the stroller has a swivel-lock feature on the front wheels, engage it and see if the wobble disappears; if so, the swivel bearing may be worn.
6. Check the wheel and axle visually for any obvious bend compared to the wheel on the other side.
7. Replace the wheel assembly if the bearing is worn out or the axle is bent, since these usually aren't repairable individually.
