- Apply lubricant to the chain links themselves if they look dry or show light rust.
- Wipe off any excess oil so it doesn't drip onto the floor or bag.
- Rehang the bag and test with a few punches to see if the squeak is gone.
- If squeaking continues after lubrication, the swivel bearing may be worn and should be replaced.
