What to do

- Confirm the collar fits snugly (two fingers should fit under it) but not so loose that contacts lose skin contact while moving.
- Check the transmitter box (usually in a garage or basement) for a fault or wire-break indicator light.
- If the transmitter shows a break, use the included wire locator function (if available) to narrow down the damaged section, often near garden beds or gates.
- Re-pair or resync the collar to the transmitter following the manual, especially after any battery change.
- Test the boundary warning by walking the pet on a leash toward the boundary while watching for the beep response before trusting it unsupervised.
