Symptoms

Likely causes

What to do
- Power off and unplug the projector, then let it cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Open the lamp access panel and make sure it clicks fully shut when closed.
- Check the lamp-hour counter in the menu (if accessible) against the rated lamp life in the manual.
- If accessible and you're comfortable, remove and reseat the lamp module per the manual's instructions.
- Order a replacement lamp module matching your exact model number if the hour count is high or the lamp is confirmed dead.
- Install the new lamp following the manual exactly, and reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu after replacement.
