Trash compactor ram is jammed

Symptoms

Likely causes

3. Remove the obstruction, rearranging the trash so nothing is standing upright or leaning against the sides.
4. Wipe down the visible guide rails with a damp cloth to remove sticky buildup if present.
5. Reduce how full the bag gets before running a cycle going forward.
6. Plug the unit back in and run a normal cycle to confirm it completes fully.
